Older chapters may have multiple boxes containing news clippings, photos, and keepsakes that have been sent to Alpha Sigma Phi Headquarters for archiving. The Academy's continued support of Alpha Phi Sigma serves to enhance Alpha Phi. Since 1978, Alpha Phi Sigma has held its national conference in conjunction with the annual ACJS meeting.

In addition to the archives that are on display, the Fraternity also maintains archives of past national meetings, conferences, and events.Įach chapter has its own archive box at Fraternity Headquarters. Alpha Phi Sigma was granted membership by the Association of College Honor Societies in 1980. At the 1976 meeting of the Academy of Criminal Justice Science in Dallas, Texas, the Academy recognized Alpha Phi Sigma as the Criminal Justice Honor Society. The Fraternity's archives display exists to preserve and interpret the rich history of the issues and individuals that have shaped Alpha Sigma Phi's Vision of fostering high standards of morality and character among the young men that join the Fraternity. An office was first established in New York City, New York in 1919 and in 1946, the office moved to Delaware, Ohio. Burns Alpha Sigma Phi Headquarters is home to Alpha Sigma Phi Fraternity and the Alpha Sigma Phi Foundation and is located in Carmel, Indiana a suburb of Indianapolis.
